How To Reverse The Online Gambling Ban

Edward Curtis

More then 10 Million Americans enjoyed online gambling on a regular basis, maybe it was poker or blackjack, or maybe it was online bingo or scratch card games. Whatever the game was these people are no longer able to enjoy their favorite hobbies because of a law that was passed in October of 2006.

Many of these people have become angry online gamblers, because of their government’s decision to ban them from gambling online, and they want to know how to reverse this unjust and unfair law.

The best way to reverse a law is by protesting the government, but I do not think just that is enough, in 2 years there will be another presidential election, and soon the presidential hopefuls will start to emerge, and they must quickly be made aware that this is the hot topic of the next election.

The best way to do this is to target them with letter writing campaigns, and by having supporters go to rallies and try to ask the question “will you be willing to reverse the online gambling ban” the more time the press hears that question posed to a presidential candidate the more importance it will hold.

Soon you will find the news writing about it and next thing you know it is the hot topic of the election, and all the candidates will be talking about it, and they will start talking about the need to reverse the law and how they were always against the law.

They will do this to get the votes of the people who want online gambling legalized, but only if it seems like the majority of the voting public want the online gambling ban reversed. They will do whatever the largest group of voters wants them to, because they know if they do not the other guy will get those votes and then it is all over.

Figuring out who will be the top candidates is easy go to the democrats and the republican official web sites and if it does not already mention it then chances are the two most talked about members will be the ones you are looking for, and if not there are several sites on the internet that have made their predictions.

Start off by writing letters, and staging protest around the country. In the 1960’s this may have been harder to do, but today we have the internet, and sites have already been made for this very reason. One such site is www.myspace.com/angryonlinegambler. This page has a petition you can sign and soon they will have a forum dedicated to helping people connect to arrange protests all over the USA.

The next step will be getting people to go to rallies and places where you can actually ask the candidate questions and start the volley of online gambling questions he or she needs to answer.

The eventual goal is to make sure every time a microphone is put into a candidates face, someone is asking about reversing the online gambling ban. If you can successfully manage this, the law will be reversed.
